Navratri Picture session!

Heres why I love this festival. I have already written about it earlier here. Here are the pics of my this years Golu

The 5 steps

Tried to make a hill temple!

The Ragi seeds refused to grow... truly failed rains this time :(

Attempted rangoli on top of water!! But the moment fan was switched on, the colours ran helter-skelter ;) ( CP, I will reply to your mail on this!)

Paper bags I made to give the haldi kumkum in.

Hope you all had a great navratri and heres wishing you happy Deepavali in advance. I love this festive season.

That temple was actually quite good. Bye the way, is it Golu or Kolu?

Yay!!!

I have seen this from close quarters and I can vouch that no photo can do justice to the real effort that you have out in there!!!

I know what all you have done to keep all that perfect and as I always say I seriously appreciate the effort you put in for this tradition!!!

And ya! I also have the paper bag!!! Yay!!! :D

going green with paper bags?:) nice concept wonder how ur able to make time for everything.. that's true interest i'd say..

i also like little lamps floating in water. in our place they say"thannila kolam poda koodathu" guess they mean just in water, not the rice flour one.
